Field Technician - Windows

We’re looking for the next senior Microsoft infrastructure engineer to help us help our clients Get Back to Work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide onsite and remote support for desktops and servers of all flavors

· Understand and deploy Active Directory and cloud-first authentication environments

· Deep knowledge of email systems and troubleshooting Exchange, Office 365, Google Apps

· Administer and maintain Windows Server environments

· Comfortable with integration of macOS computers onto Windows and enterprise networks

· Knowledge of networking, routing, firewalls and remote VPNs

· Ability to understand, utilize and issue certificates for network authentication and encryption

· Understand and build solutions based on client’s technological needs

· Clear, concise and precise communication is an absolute must

· Bring diverse opinions and backgrounds to the proverbial table

Qualifications

· 6-8 years of technical support related to server infrastructure

· Microsoft certifications highly desired

· CompTIA Network + is highly desired

· Knowledge of both Mac and Windows operating systems, as well as common software packages that our clients use

· A desire to inspire the creative work of others

· A love for pure chaos

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, with occasional 80’s music.
