Mackenzie Marketing Case Study

Mackenzie Marketing is a marketing strategy and communications firm in Minneapolis that serves financial services, healthcare, retail and technology businesses. Their focus is on solving marketing problems through strategy and creativity. The challenge for The Foundation and JAMF Software was to reduce the amount of downtime each employee would face during the conversion.

The Foundation and JAMF Software did step in with a way for Mackenzie Marketing to painlessly convert its office to OS X. They pre-imaged all of the computers for Mackenzie Marketing. Part of this process was to collect from all of the employees their preferences; what they wanted on the menu bar, applications they needed, and fonts they wanted. This line of questioning allowed The Foundation to deliver machines that were ready to go for Mackenzie Marketing. The machines just had to be taken out of the box and set on the desk.

It normally takes up to four hours to configure and personalize a machine for the end user. However, with The Foundation pre-configuring all of the machines, they saved Mackenzie Marketing about 40 hours in labor. Now any time that Mackenzie Marketing orders a new machine The Foundation has all of their configurations, so they can be up and running in no time.
